Step 1 of Getting a Website Built: Planning

"It's essential to have a FULL plan BEFORE you start building anything. While it's possible to change plans during construction, without a solid plan, it's very easy to go off course."

Your Client/Customer profile

First we profile who and where your clients are to find out what sort of website will appeal to them.

Promotion

At this point, we look at what advertising/ promotion you currently do for your business, and decide where the website fits in, and if any further internet advertising will be needed.

What to display?

This is where we look at what information about your business, products or service should be displayed on the website.

Modular Features

Here, we outline what features or functions would benefit your website. E.g. Noticeboards, a Shopping Cart, Chat Rooms, etc.

Step 2: Visuals

Here, planning is important also. Colours and styles help your site appeal to the customers YOU want to target.

We go through a simple questionaire with you to ascertain what will suit your new website, and produce a sample picture of what your site will look like. You can then suggest any further changes or tweaks to the design to get it perfect.

Step 3: Construction

After the Visual design is finalised, we discuss and finalise any construction details.

You are then given a 'Content Request Package' that outlines exactly what you, the client, needs to supply, and how we need you to supply it. (These details are also discussed in earlier meetings)

Once all the content has been received, we build the working structure of the website and add in all your content. At this point you can suggest any final changes or additions.

Step 4: Go Live!!

Once the site is perfect, we'll link it up to your domain name, and you're live! We then train you to use any 'Self Editable' features , and proceed with any Launch Promotions.
